Signs of Heart – Feature Friday

Written By Morgan Knox

Signs of Heart was established in 2020 and boy have they brought smiles to the Harford County community this past year! The idea came to owners Jen and Jenn (aka the Jenns) when their daughter’s sixteenth birthday bash had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. They searched for ideas and alternatives for how to celebrate and they came across yard signs. Then they thought to themselves, “this is something other community members would love.”

Moving here in late 2019, they were looking for a way to meet people in Harford County. The Jenns both have prior event planning and marketing backgrounds so they were fully equipped to start making people’s day. They started with birthdays and now they have expanded to carding for all sorts of occasions. They have employee appreciation, welcome homes, gender reveals, and even graduations! “We grew much faster than anticipated,” stated the Jenns. They absolutely love seeing the smiles it brings to people’s faces and the simple joy folks get out of seeing something thoughtful done for them.

Signs of Heart also donates sign packages for small businesses and non-profits. This is something that they will continue to do post covid because it’s a small gesture that makes a big difference. The Jenns are amazing and Harford County is lucky to have them. If you are looking for a way to celebrate a little differently this year, check out Signs of Heart! You will not be disappointed.
