Calling all wine lovers! Pairings Bistro knows everything there is to know about wine and as a bonus, they even know what food to pair it with! Pairings Bistro set its roots in Harford County in 2009. The idea came to owner and chef, Jon Kohler, after he and his wife visited Burgundy, France and had a similar dinner experience where the restaurant paired different wines with meals.
This week for our Feature Friday, we made our way to Havre de Grace to check out JoRetro and we fell in love. Jolene Forrester, founder, owner, and Havre de Grace native showed me around the shop and gave me background on how the store came to be.
Susan Wheeler started Ola Hydrogen Wellness with one mission in mind, to help heal individuals from the inside out. Hydrogen inhalation therapy is most commonly used in the Europe, Japan, and other Eastern countries. Susan, a Harford County native, has a heavy background in biology, pathology, and testing tissues. She and her husband moved to Hawaii for about four years and she began to learn more about the numerous health benefits to Hydrogen.
