Har-co Credit Union

Since 1955, Har-co Credit Union has proudly served the citizens of Harford County. Up until 2017, our focus revolved around supporting the Educational Community in the County. In 2018, we broadened our field of membership to also include all the citizens of Harford County, their families, as well as, individuals that worship and work in the County. With this exciting change, comes a renewal of the focus to deliver exceptional experiences to our existing Members, our Education Community and to the Community at Large.

As many of you may already know, via Community postings, Facebook and the Har-cogram, I joined the Credit Union in June of 2019. The first major initiative I culturally felt compelled to institute was an employee supported Member Experience Pledge. This Pledge is a document that every employee has signed, pledging their commitment to deliver an experience that is memorable and exceptional. In fact, our Branches and Corporate Office have a Member Experience Pledge hanging on their wall, signed by every Employee and Board Member. The pledge was also posted on our website. Please take a look and familiarize yourself with it. We ask that you give feedback on how we are achieving stewardship of this important and valued pledge.

I am also excited to inform you that your Har-co Team is diligently working on refocusing and redesigning some of our product and service offerings. New lending and deposit products, as well as enhancements to existing products are being contemplated and designed. Stay tuned! We desire to provide our Members with solutions to their needs.

To represent our refocusing efforts, our Har-co Team thought a Brand Logo change was needed. Although this Brand Logo was not significantly altered, we wanted it to be a reintroduction of this institution’s long tenured service in our Community. The Harford County shaped cut-outs represent our Membership Community, from the County’s Education Community and from the Community at Large, all of who we are so grateful and so fortunate to serve. Our new color scheme is more vibrant representing our excitement and renewed focus on our Members. We are interested in your feedback and thoughts around this as well.

I have spent some time in our Branches meeting our members. It has been my pleasure to speak and hear from you. I will be spending more time at our locations, trying to get to know each of you better. Our team at Har-co looks forward to further supporting your financial needs. We are thankful, and we value the opportunity to continue to serve you.
