Laila’s Gift – Harford Lifestyle Community Spotlight

Written By Morgan Knox

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Shari Bailey, President and Founder of Laila’s Gift to hear her story about why she created the foundation and what it provides to the community. Shari is the mother of beautiful twins, Laila and Lana. Laila was born with Jacobsen Syndrome, which according to Google is, a condition characterized by the deletion of several genes on chromosome 11.

They made it their family’s mission to celebrate the little things in life and bring that joy and compassion to other families who might be in need. They celebrate milestones like first steps, first words, birthdays, all things that we take for granted every day. Their story is truly remarkable so be sure to watch the full video to learn more and see how you can help get involved and spread the word.
