There is a New Gym In Town!

Written By Morgan Knox

There’s a new gym in town! We Rock the Spectrum is a sensory gym franchise that now has a location in Forest Hill. The gym provides a nurturing, fun, and sensory safe environment for kids/teens/adults of all abilities through amazing sensory equipment.

Recently, I had the chance to sit down and get to know the owners of the Forest Hill location, Nikki and Trey Wooton. The Wootons are originally from Mississippi, but have made Maryland their home for the last 13 years. Their mission is simple; give children both on and off the spectrum a safe place to play, learn, and develop. The motto is “finally a place where you never have to say I’m sorry.”

Nikki and Trey have been working tirelessly to get the gym open and spread the word about all of the wonderful things they have to offer at We Rock the Spectrum. While the pandemic slowed their plans, they were still able to open June 1st, abiding to all Covid-19 guidelines in the state of Maryland.

As of now, they are open for private play dates, limited open play sessions, and birthday parties, by appointment only, 7 days a week. They have an indoor zip line, trampoline, basketball hoop, and several more attractions and activities for children of all ages and ability! Call and schedule your time to play today or email Nikki at info@werockthespectrumforesthill.com
