If you are anything like me, you are up checking the fridge and the cabinets every 30 minutes to see if something will magically appear that I find appetizing while I work from home. Yet, nothing ever appears. After looking around online for healthy snack options, I found that there are only a few ingredients that you need in order to have a week full of healthy snacks.
Here is a short list of what to have as a healthy snack from home.
Fruit – Having fruits such as clementines, grapes, and bananas are all things that you can snag and return to your work space, without skipping a beat.
Yogurt – There are plenty of variations of yogurt that you can have from Chobani Greek yogurt to Dannon simply vanilla yogurt. You can even add some of that fresh fruit to your yogurt.
Veggies – Veggies are a great snack because there is little prep that goes into it. You can also dress them in a million different spreads such as ranch dip, hummus, or even peanut butter!
Crackers – I always have crackers in my house whether it’s Ritz or just a box of plain saltines. Dress your crackers up with some cheese or some peanut butter!
Eggs – They are simple and fast to make. You can even hard boil eggs for a quick snack that will last you through the week.
