Venetian Italian Eatery – Feature Friday

Written By Morgan Knox

Venetian Italian Eatery is a piece of Harford County history. This restaurant has been serving the county for over 40 years. In May of 2021, the restaurant was under new ownership who promised to keep the tradition alive.

Before new ownership, the restaurant was called The Venetian Palace. We sat down with new owner, Nick Hatzinicolas, who is currently the owner of three other Maryland restaurants, located between Baltimore City and Rosedale. “We felt that Harford County had a need for Ma & Pa shops,” stated Nick. “We enjoy what we do and it’s always been that way.”

Nick believes that service is key in his family-owned business. On any given day when you walk into the restaurant, you will be greeted by a family member before the end of your meal. Even the staff members that they hire eventually become part of the family! With new additions to a classic menu and new hours, this restaurant is ready to serve the community.

They are always looking to hire new staff members and they have some of the best specials around.

Monday Nights – Crab Cake special

Tuesday Nights – Prime Rib Special

Wednesday Night – Pasta Specials

Thursday – Sunday – Half priced bottle of wine night

Hours of Operation – 9AM – 3AM
