The game was tied after seven innings. JC scored in the first after Emily Hildt singled, scoring one run. Spalding scored in the bottom of the first on two errors on the same play.
Top of the 8th-JC scored 6 runs on 2 hits to take a 7-1 lead. Hildt doubled driving in 2 runs and Kallissa Coats homered to center field scoring 2 runs.
Bottom of the 8th-Spalding scored four runs on 5 hits. The game ended with two outs, first and third. Spalding runner on first tried to steal second and was thrown out by Jules Aragon.
Hildt (3 rbis) and Coats(2 rbis) led JC offense with two hits each. Savannah Claycomb singled, walked, had a stolen base and 2 runs scored.
Hildt pitched 8 innings giving up 9 hits, 4 earned runs, and 3 strikeouts.
