Feature Friday – Dimensions Dance Center

Written By Morgan Knox

Dimensions Dance Center (DDC) is a Harford County hidden gem. The dance center was founded in 2016 by Tania Long, a life-long dancer who received her degree in Dance from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Personal experiences in her childhood led Long to open DDC with the mission for dancers to have a safe space to learn quality dance instruction and knowing that they are enough. These students can learn a variety of different dances such as modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, etc. DDC is located in Abingdon and is open for business! Despite the pandemic, DDC was able to open in July for their first ever summer camp. They hosted students and abided by the social distancing guidelines. The offer classes for ages two and a half through fourteen years old. If you have a child and are looking for an extracurricular activity, give DDC a call. They can provide a safe space for your child to grow.

Fun Fact: DDC took first place in the Aberdeen Christmas Parade in December of 2019.
