Advice to Other Coaches
Make it fun! You must enjoy what you’re doing and so do your athletes. Have a philosophy and stick with it. The Bel Air Wrestling philosophy is to create young men and women of the highest character through wrestling. Plan your practices and ask questions. Go to coach’s clinics and reach out to others for suggestions. You should always be learning and find the best ways to reach out athletes. You must find the balance between team and individual success.
Advice to Parents
Parents of your athletes, be supportive and allow the coaches to do their job.
Advice to Players
Effort is everything. We want athletes that are good teammates, that work hard, and are coachable. Give it a try.
