A Harford County Legacy – Emmorton Snowballs

Written By Morgan Knox

I had the pleasure of visiting Emmorton Snowballs/Ice Cream recently and boy am I glad I did! This long-standing family business is serving Harford County with not only snowballs but ice creams and milkshakes as well (including their seasonal pumpkin shake made with real pumpkin.) Chris Covington started the stand back in the 1980s. Her legacy has continued with the help of her son Neil, his wife, and other family members. What started out as a smaller sno-ball stand, has now grown to be two locations, staffed by family members, and an expanded menu. The mission, to serve everyone with a smile and quality, tasty treats. I highly recommend the chocolate milkshake! This family has perfected it. Check out Emmorton Snowballs today and tell them Harford Lifestyle sent you! Located at 101 E Wheel Rd, Bel Air, MD. There is outdoor seating and plenty of different flavors to choose from!
