Haven Hair Studio – Feature Friday

Written By Morgan Knox

For this week’s Feature Friday, we made our way back over to My Salon Suite – Bel Air to meet with an incredibly talented young lady, Kaylee Parkes, who is the proud owner of Haven Hair Studio. Parkes is a Harford County native who has had a passion for cosmetology since high school. She attended Harford Technical High School and was enrolled in their Cosmetology program. After graduating, she finished out schooling and received her license. She secured a job at Ulta building her client base and putting her skills to work.

Once Covid swept the nation, it gave Parkes time to think about the direction she was headed. She decided that she was going to start her own company, and thus Haven Hair Studio was born. “I kept my clients because I only moved across the street. This space is a great environment and it makes people feel safe,” Parkes claims.

In her early 20’s, she is already a young business woman, with a passion to build relationships with clients and leave them looking and feeling their best. With the exclusion of chemical texture services, Parkes talents range across the board. Visit www.havenhairstudiomd.com today to learn more about Kaylee and what she offers!
