The Town of Bel Air dominated the Aegis’ end of year awards, for the fifth year. This year the male Athlete of the Year was Mike Pons of John Carroll. Pons played football, basketball and baseball. He followed other multi sport athletes from 21014: 1970 Chick Ross JC, 1971 Jeff Grantz BA, 1972 Stan Gray BA, 1973 Tom Carven BA, and John Carroll’s Mike Pons.

The Aegis 1st Female Athlete of the Year was Liz Panos of Bel Air who was player of the year in field hockey, basketball and softball. Panos was all named MVP for the Bel Air Women’s Flag Football league.

The Aegis Coach of the Year for 1974 was Bob Rudolph of Havre De Grace Basketball.

In Bel Air 13-14 year-old Parks and Rec Basketball, guard John Baublis scored 38 points of his Wolfpack team’s 52 in their win over the Sneakers.
