Courtney Kalisz and Amanda Dunnigan brought home eight medals between them from the US Swimming Championships in Buffalo, NY. Dunnigan recorded the fastest 50 meter breast stroke for an under 16 year-old American female this year. Both swimmers were part of the Bel Air Athletic Club Swim Team.

Edgewood’s Eric Estrada took home first place at the Baltimore YMCA 5K and the $300 cash prize. Estrada finished 50 yards ahead for the field of 236 runners.

Bel Air soccer’s Kim Cooper scored five goals, including the game winner, with a minute left, to push BA ahead of Liberty from Sykesville, 5-4.

Villa Julie College’s Girl’s Soccer program featured 13 players from Harford County, including 11 from Bel Air.

Bel Air Football coach Courtney Hart won the 1st Coach’s Food Fest at the Harford Mall. Hart ate 48 chicken wings in 5 minutes to finish eight ahead of Havre De Grace coach Greg Long. John Carroll’s Tim Perry was 3rd and Drain Bokeno of Edgewood 4th.
