  • Forest Hill’s Austin Ensor qualified for US Motocross Nationals at Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch. Austin competed in the 4-8 year old 50cc oil injected class. Austin also played soccer and basketball, when he wasn’t traveling the east coast racing along with his father Mark, who started racing at 12 years of age.
  • Brian Harris and Erin Nett of Bel Air won their respective events at the Adidas Classic Indoor Track Championships at the University of West Virginia. Erin won the Pole Vault with a jump of over 12 feet. Harris won the mile with a time of 4:19 which was six seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher.
  • Led by the Fortunato sisters, John Carroll swimming beat Fallston and Joppatowne, 270 to 227 to 96 respectively. Catherine and Chiara anchored the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay races for the Patriots.
  • Havre De Grace basketball turned the season around by reversing early seasons losses to North Harford, Fallston and Edgewood.  HdG’s Icen Johnson and Brandon Richardson emerged as two of the UCBAC’s most dominant players.
  • Harford Tech has six wrestlers seeded #1 going into the county Championships. Starting with the 112 weight class, the next five weight class favorites (thru 140) were Cobras, something that has not occurred previously. HT won counties in 1999 and Bel Air won the previous year.
