  • Bel Air, C Milton Wright, and John Carroll – all 3 undefeated – took to the pool with JC coming out on top 246 to CMW’s 226 and BA taking 3rd with 146 points.
  • Aberdeen lost their 3rd champion coach in as many years this fall when UCBAC Champion Coach, Kevin Reilley, stepped down. That followed the resignation of 16X champion wrestling coach Dick Slutzky and annual contender for the UCBAC basketball crown Ron Petrey.
  • North Harford’s boys basketball won their 1st UCBAC game of the season on the big stage at Harford Community College by beating Harford Tech 59-52.
  • Hall of Fame quarterback Johnny Unitas met with close to 500 fans at Ledo’s Pizza in Bel Air. This would be the infamous Johnny U’s final autograph signing event.
  • The threat of snow cancelled a weekend of athletics for all county schools except for John Carroll which had a full slate of games and matches. Ultimately, no measurable snow fell in the county.
