- In the inaugural game of the I-95 Football Challenge, the Baltimore Co All Stars were able to finish ahead of the UCBAC All Stars, 10-0. Aberdeen’s Mike Miller was credited with an amazing 22 tackles,\
- Edgewood’s Rocky Farley was proclaimed Living Legend by the Worldwide Martial Arts Hall of Fame. The 48-year-old Farley was invited to train with the monks of China’s Shaolin Temple.
- Three North Harford athletes signed letters of intent to play and study in New York. Monica Joines will play lacrosse for Syracuse; Tara Buecker will play lacrosse for Hofstra while Patrick Starleper plans to play football at Cornell.
- On the strength of 11 wrestlers making the podium, Bel Air finished well ahead of PA’s, Kennard Dale at the 36th John Carroll Christmas Invitational Wrestling Tournament. Host John Carroll took 4th place.
- C. Milton Wright’s, Cara Wettlaufer won the 1600m run at the Dickinson Invitational, in Carlisle, PA. A defending MD State Champion ran a personal best, 5:20;4, 8.22 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
