- Hunter Ritter improved his record to 20-1 for the Univ of Wisconsin by avenging his loss at Who’s Number One the previous year, 9-7 over Univ of Minnesota’s Bobby Steveson. Fellow John Carroll grad Mathew Miller led all wrestlers in the US with the most pins. Miller pinned his way through the All Academy Championships for the 3rd time to earn Outstanding Wrestler honors.
- Patterson Mill swimmer Jack Leary set the school record in the 100m fly, and in doing so upset returning champion, Jake Schaefer of CMW, by 16 one hundredths of a second.
- CMW swimmer Megan Cowan won her 3rd state championship in the 200m freestyle, then went on to claim the 100m freestyle championship by :04. Megan finished her scholastic career as a six time individual state champion.
- Patterson Mill’s Khayla Mitchell scored 23 points to propel the Huskies to a 54-44 win over Aberdeen, ending the Eagle’s 15 game win streak.
- Aberdeen’s Brionna Jones and John Carroll’s Miranda Ripken both reached scoring milestones for their college teams. Jones became the 31st female to reach the 1000 point milestone for the University of Maryland. Ripken became only the 11th with 1000+ points for Steven’s Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
